Carl, an Alocasia Cucullata or Hooded Dwarf Elephants Ear, has bright green heart-shaped glossy leaves paired with prominent veins.
He is also known as the Buddha's hand because it's believed he can bring good fortune. For this reason, he is often kept in Buddhist temples across Thailand.
