Zara, an Alocasia ‘Little Zebrina’, is a new kid on the block!
Much like Zina, our regular Zebrina, Zara has distinctive zebra-like stems and shiny arrow-shaped leaves that’ll stand out wherever she’s sat, but, and a big but, she’s actually a smaller dwarf variety, hence the name!
As well as being smaller, Zara also has slightly wavy edges to her leaves which gives her a completely different look and feel.
Zara, Alocasia Little Zebrina
Zara prefers bright indirect light to partial shade without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight however would be welcomed.
If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
