Viv, an Aloe Vera, has to be one of the most recognisable plants there is, probably because the gel inside her leaves is famed for soothing burns, but Viv is so much more!
She can be found all over the world and in the wild could grow to a meter wide. She’s unlikely to flower in the UK, but should you be lucky enough to see one, it’ll be bright red and resemble a hot poker!
