Bruce, a Lepismium Bolivianum, or Forest Cactus, is a spine-free cactus that's usually found growing in and amongst larger trees in the Bolivian Forests. Over time, he'll form a mass of flat, flesh like stems, that look best hanging over the edges of a pot.
Bruce is pretty easy going and provided he gets enough light he'll happily grow to around a metre long displaying both pink and white flowers.
Bruce, Lepismium Bolivianum - Medium
Bruce prefers bright indirect light without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight however would be welcomed.
If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
