Liza, a Caladium Heart to Heart®, Lemon Blush™, or Hortulanum, is a fancy-leaved new-comer with rose-red centres and a wide chartreuse margin.
Caladiums are well known for their big, heart-shaped, leaves that provide amazing color combinations. Though Caladiums rarely flower, their beautiful foliage guarantee a colorful show year round.
Native to the rainforests of South America, Flur is a tuberous plant, which means her leaves will die back during the winter months and eventually go dormant. Don't worry though, you can save her tubers and once springtime comes around, she'll be back!
Believe it or not, Flur can tolerate both sunny spots and areas with partial shade - basically, she'll be happy almost anywhere.
Liza, Caladium Lemon Blush
Liza prefers indirect light to partial shade, without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight wouldn’t go a miss.
If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
