Scarlett, a Caladium Heart to Heart® Summer Breeze™, or Hortulanum, is a fancy leaf Caladium, with large leaves that brighten even the shady spots of your home. She has red veins that highlight the bright white and mint green leaves.
Caladiums are well known for their big, heart-shaped, leaves that provide amazing color combinations. Though Caladiums rarely flower, their beautiful foliage guarantee a colorful show year-round.
Native to the rainforests of South America, Scarlett is a tuberous plant, which means her leaves will die back during the winter months and eventually go dormant. Don't worry though, you can save her tubers and once springtime comes around, she'll be back!
Believe it or not, Scarlett can tolerate both sunny spots and areas with partial shade - basically, she'll be happy almost anywhere.

Scarlett prefers indirect light to partial shade, without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight wouldn’t go a miss.
