Moriarty, a Echinocereus Morricalii Cactus, is a slow-growing cactus native to Mexico.

As he grows in the wild, it forms a small cluster of columnar stems that shrink in winter in response to a the lack of water.

Believe it or not, when he's happy, he might even show bright pink-purple flowers with bright yellow centres.

  • Moriarty prefers bright light and once established will even tolerate direct sun.

If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:

    • Minimal shadow = lower light
    • Half shadow = indirect light
    • Full shadow = direct sun
