Monroe, a Echinopsis Multiplex Cactus, Easter Lily Cactus, or Night-Blooming Hedgehog Cactus, is commonly found growing across Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
In the wild, Monroe grows rapidly, forming large clumps up to 60cm in diameter! When he's happy, he'll show off gorgeous night-blooming, white-to-pink funnel-shaped, fragrant flowers. As Monroe gets older, he may even have a dozen flowers open at a time.

Monroe prefers bright light and once established will even tolerate direct sun.
If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
