Curtis, a Hoya Curtisii, Wax Flower, or Porcelain Flower, is a rarely seen gem in the Hoya family, with tiny, spade-shaped leaves that are olive-green in color, mottled with splashes of sparkly silver-blue variegation.

Curtis is native to the Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand, and if he's happy he'll display fragrant green-yellow or red flowers that tend to come out in clusters.

  • Curtis prefers bright indirect light without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight however would be welcomed.

If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:

    • Minimal shadow = lower light
    • Half shadow = indirect light
    • Full shadow = direct sun
