Bronson, an Opuntia Azurea Bloeiend or Black-Spined Prickly Pear Cactus, is a fairly hard-to-come variety of cactus native to deserts, mountain grasslands, as well as the slopes of Texas and in various states of Mexico.
Believe it or not, if Bronson is happy she will display brightly coloured flowers, quite a juxtaposition to his large black spines!
