Myles, a Philodendron Moonlight, is a fairly new hybrid variety to the market. His light green leaves become more coarse with time ending up more prominently ribbed, and when new leaves unfurl they'll be bright yellow as well as green.
If Myles is happy, he'll show off with white flowers that have pink and red spathes, lasting for a few weeks. Because he's a larger variety of Philodendron, Myles can grow to be around 2 feet tall and even wider!
Myles, Philodendron Moonlight
Myles prefers indirect light to partial shade, without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight wouldn’t go a miss.
If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
