Pamela, a pink Christmas Cactus or Schlumbergera, is most likely the second festive plant you think of after a Christmas Tree, and rightly so, because she flowers from November through to late January, giving you a wonderful Christmas display or gift.

Despite the fact Pamela is synonymous with Christmas, she's actually native to the coastal mountains of south-eastern Brazil, where she'll grow on trees or rocks in habitats that are generally shady with high humidity.

    • Minimal shadow = lower light
    • Half shadow = indirect light
