Sloan, a Pointsettia Superba Glitter or Euphorbia Pointsettia, is one of the most well-known Christmas holiday plants. Sloan provides you with a beautiful way to decorate your home for the holiday's thanks to her festive red coloUr, but that doesn't mean she can't be enjoyed for the rest of the year too!
Native to Mexico, she was first brought to the United States by the first minister to Mexico, Dr. Joel Poinsett.
Did you know, people often mistakenly identify Sloan's bracts (colourful leaves), as its flowers. The actual flowers are the small, yellow clusters found in the centre of the bracts.

Sloan prefers bright to medium indirect light. If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
