Priya, a Hypoestes Phyllostachya or Polka Dot Plant, certainly packs a punch! She comes in almost any colour you can imagine, and because her leaves are so brightly coloured, she's great for brightening up your home.
Native to South Africa, Madagascar, and south east Asia, Priya actually does better in a touch of shade - in fact, if she's kept in bright light for too long, her colours will actually fade!

Priya prefers indirect light to partial shade, without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight however would be welcomed.
