Myrtle, a Sansevieria Moonshine or Snake Plant, is the rarest and most sought after member of the Sansevieria family! Like the others, she’s as tough as they come and will survive almost anything you throw at her. She grows primarily across Africa, which means she's used to both hot and dry conditions.
To deal with the hottest temperatures during the day she actually closes her pores stopping any water loss by evaporation. Then, at night when the temperature drops all of its pores open up releasing all the oxygen they've been holding onto - that's why they're such great air purifiers.

Myrtle can cope with any light conditions you throw at him, ranging from bright sunlight all the way down to shady corners.
If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
