Barnaby, a Sedum Morganianum Burrito, Donkey Tail or Burro’s Tail, is a member of the wider succulent family and native to Mexico and Honduras.

As you might have guessed, Barnaby’s leaves resembles the tail of a donkey or rabbit, and in the wild his stems would happily trail up to 60cm long flowering pink to red star shaped flowers throughout summer!

  • Barnaby prefers bright indirect light, without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight wouldn’t go a miss.

If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:

    • Minimal shadow = lower light
    • Half shadow = indirect light
    • Full shadow = direct sun
