Barnaby, a Sedum Morganianum Burrito, Donkey Tail or Burro’s Tail, is a member of the wider succulent family and native to Mexico and Honduras.
As you might have guessed, Barnaby’s leaves resembles the tail of a donkey or rabbit, and in the wild his stems would happily trail up to 60cm long flowering pink to red star shaped flowers throughout summer!

Barnaby prefers bright indirect light, without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight wouldn’t go a miss.
If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
