Sergio, an Albuca Spiralis 'Fizzle Sizzle', or Corkscrew Albuca, is one of around 100 plants in his family, most of which originate from South Africa. Sergio is recognisable due to his distinctive leaves, which are slender, spiral tipped, and hair like in shape.

If Sergio is really happy, he'll actually flower! Flowering would usually take place in late winter or early spring, and he'd show off sweet vanilla scented green flowers with yellow edges.

  • Sergio prefers bright light and once established will even tolerate direct sun.

If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:

    • Minimal shadow = lower light
    • Half shadow = indirect light
    • Full shadow = direct sun
