Seth, an Scindapsus Pictus Trebie or Satin Pothos, has bold silvery-white patches that almost appear to be painted by hand. They make for beautiful hanging plants with their understated, satin sheen and can be trained to grow along shelves.
Seth will get better the older he gets, where his leaves will begin to trail downwards creating a beautiful shimmering waterfall. The whole Pothos family are also great at purifying the air around us – bonus points!
Seth also has a brother, Sessel, who as you can imagine looks very similar. The only difference between the pair is that Sessel's patches of silver are more like small dots instead of larger patches like on Seth.

Seth prefers indirect light to partial shade, without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight wouldn’t go a miss.
If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
