Orla, a Cereopegia Woodii Orange River, is another new kid on the block. The main differences between Hetty and Orla, are shape and colour. Orla has arrow-shaped leaves, and an orange-red stem, hence her name. The more light she gets, the brighter her colours will be.

Orla is native to South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe, and will happily live outside even with the hot temperatures - in the UK she’s best left indoors! Her stems can grow very very long, so put her somewhere high and watch it trail!

  • Orla prefers bright indirect light, without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight however would be welcomed.

If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:

    • Minimal shadow = lower light
    • Half shadow = indirect light
    • Full shadow = direct sun
