Now, I think everyone can guess why Vera is known as a Variegated String of Hearts - on top of being shaped like miniature hearts, her stems, veins, and leaves have a more white or pale pink appearance in comparison to her cousin. Not only that, but the happier she is, the pinker she gets - amazing right!
Formally named Ceropegia Marlies, Vera is native to South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe, and will happily live outside even with the hot temperatures - in the UK she’s best left indoors! Her stems can grow very very long, so put her somewhere high and watch it trail!

Vera prefers bright indirect light, without prolonged exposure to direct sun - a touch of morning sunlight however would be welcomed.
