Winifred, a Codiaeum Variegatum 'Wilma', is one of the most unusual and eye-catching houseplants you'll come across! Her leaves are typically glossy to touch and shaped almost like oak leaves.
Her colours range from dark and light greens to yellows, oranges, reds, and even pinks – then on top of that, her veins are usually opposing colours which make for a striking look!
Winifred, Codiaeum Wilma - Small
Winifred prefers bright light and a few hours of direct sunlight per day is recommended – that being said, avoid mid-day sun as this could cause the leaves to fade.
If you’re not sure what level of light you have, check the shadows cast by your plant:
- Minimal shadow = lower light
- Half shadow = indirect light
- Full shadow = direct sun
