PRODUCT PROJECT

Product Project: Durex Condom Applicator

37% of men have had the problem of condom associated erection loss. This is caused by loss of flow and concentration needed.

Problems of finding and applying condoms, as well as men often misapplying condoms the wrong way round etc have created this unspoken problem.

This concept aims to improve condom application by the redesign of the packaging to speed up the application process with the use of glow in the dark packaging and soft hooks that spread the condom across a cross section and make the application process faster.

SYSTEMS PROJECT

Systems Project: The Perfect Bed

The process of sleeping is a primitive concept with about 45% of Britain only averaging 5 hours of sleep a night.

This concept Is a bed aimed at creating perfect sleeping conditions. By using monitoring software the bed is aimed to tailor the temperature around your body to the best for your current sleeping stage. The bed also uses sunset lighting to send the user to sleep and blue morning lighting to wake the user up. The concept utilises memory gel to create a bed sensation closest to the womb which research shows creates better sleeping sensations.

The use of a hood which monitors lighting and makes sure that the user is not suddenly awakened by light senses. The perfect sleeping experience

My passion is to design products that react to the user. Products that tell an unspoken story and invoke immediate obvious user interaction.
In my spare time I am a motorcycle enthusiast and keen adventurist and traveller. I am also a keen rugby player with the nose to show for it.
I would work best in a competitive design environment
with a strong design team on the same mission as me.
