ADO:
Biomni: Biomimetic MTB Cranial Protection
Following research into Biomimetics in Advanced Material Technology, focussing on Extreme occupations; a product was designed, implementing this research. The need for mountain bike cranial protection with enhanced performance was identified. Biomni is a biomimetically inspired, modular mountain bicycle helmet; featuring enhanced direct and oblique impact absorption through omni- directional force dispersion. The product is influenced by biomimetic honeycomb shock absorption, most notably from woodpecker cranium, porcupine and hedgehog quill structures. The product is aimed at the inclusive, masculine mountain biking market.
MAJOR PROJECT:
Barracuda: Adventure Sports Multi Tool
Barracuda is a modular, multi tool system that provides the essential tools for the maintenance of adventure sports equipment and aiding of survival situations, prior to rescue. The product is aimed at the competitive adventure sports market; targeting specifically, adventure sports genres with the largest popularity and participation values on a global scale: (Snow Sports, Board Sports and Cycling).
