Flow - Emergency Alert

Flow is an early warning flood system that alerts nearby communities of a potential flood through a user friendly application.   The product detects a rise and fall in river levels through a pressure probe placed at the back of the shell that is powered by a small hydroelectric turbine.  This data is then converted into specific river measurements and sent to the application.

The ground screw attached to the base of the product allows for easy installation and the guard on the face of the turbine minimises the risk to marine wildlife and protects the turbine from flowing debris.

The Heap - Food Waste Recycling

The Heap is a composting unit that utilises reclaimed oak barrels to create an appealing aesthetic for the garden environment.  The unit promotes aerobic digestion through ventilation holes and separating the waste into three sections, thus, promoting oxygen circulation and reducing bad odours occurring and the risk of attracting vermin.

Also included is a modern kitchen waste caddy suitable for the kitchen environment that echoes the barrel design of the composting unit.

After I graduate I’d like to continue working in a creative environment.  Researching and model making are two of my favourite parts of the design process and I have a keen interest in interaction design.

I love to  climb and I’d like to travel to every continent by the time I’m 30.
