PROJECT OUTLINES

PRODUCT PROJECT

Sun Shade Shelter

This project sets out to enable children to play safely in the sunlight and to over come the fears adults have regarding sunburn. The final design is a shelter that produces shade but, allows sunlight through so that children are able to get vitamin D. The cardboard toy cars also produce shade while in use. This design also introduces children to start being aware of road safety.

SYSTEMS PROJECT

The Gym

This project sets out to help women overcome fears they may have of current gyms. The reason why women have fears in a gym environment is because there is no structure and they are unsure how to do certain workouts. The new layout of the gym is designed to guide women around the gym, showing them which machines they should use and how. The idea behind the solution is that women have their own personal space to feel comfortable.

In the coming years I want to carry on growing as a designer. Currently I enjoy all aspects of design and am open to any new opportunities that come my way. I would love to move out of Cardiff and explore a new city. I am very open minded and excited for what the future may bring
